Game have revealed an important update on PS5 stock ahead of Christmas.
With PS5 shortages expected into 2022, shoppers will be desperately trying to bag one ahead of the festive period.
Well, there is some good news, as Game have confirmed new stock of the PS5 on 21 October on their website.

There’s also some useful information from popular Twitter page, PS5 Stock Alert UK, which has become a reliable source for gaming fans trying to get their hands on a PS5.
They’ve confirmed that 21 October is, “the last day they [Game] expect to deliver standard delivery orders”. So you’ll actually have to try and pre-order one before that date (more on that further down).
They add: “We predict that the restock should take place 12 October with priority orders delivered by 15 October,” and then standard orders delivered by 21 October.
For those who don’t know, the release date written by GAME is the last day they expect to deliver standard delivery orders. We predict that the restock should take place 12/10 with priority orders delivered by 15/10. Once official information is released, we’ll let you know asap.

So basically, any time between now and 12 October is your window to pre-order a PS5 via the Game website.
Customers can book mark the PS5 page on their desktop or mobile browser and check the ‘console’ section of the page regularly.
It will either say “Out of stock” or pre-order, we’re hoping it will say the latter as much as possible between now and 12 October.

PlayStation deals on Black Friday
If you can’t secure a PS5, or you’d rather get the cheaper model, then there’s likely going to be some PS4 reductions on Black Friday 2021.
This year’s day of deals takes place on 26 November, and major UK retailers are expected to discount the PS4.
It’s worth keeping an eye out on the likes of Game, Amazon and Currys to AO.com, Argos and John Lewis as well as EE.
Typically retailers kick off their Black Friday sales in the week running up to the ‘official’ day, so it’s best to book mark the PS4 pages on the above websites.
When the PS4 launched in 2013 it was priced at £349.99, and now it’s closer to the £250 mark. That’s for the redesigned, more compact PS4 slim, which arrived in 2016.
You can also get PS4 bundles with games including Spider-Man for £279 at Currys and God of War for £269 at Currys. These bundle deals are also expected to be available on Black Friday.
